Burkina Faso is located in the middle of West Africa.
Burkina Faso is bordered by Mali to the northwest, Niger to the northeast, Benin to the southeast, Togo and Ghana to the south, and the Ivory Coast to the southwest.

Features:
A majority of the population lives in the heavily populated eastern and central regions. The remaining areas have a dispersed population.
The administrative capital and seat of government, Ouagadougou, is a modern city where several companies have their headquarters.
Apart from the capital, the principal towns are Bobo Dioulasso, Koudougou, Banfora, Ouahigouya, Pouytenga, and Kaya.
