Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

These terms govern your use of krestonegypt.com, operated by Ahmed Mamdouh & Co. — Kreston Egypt (“we”, “us”, “the Firm”), a professional accounting and auditing firm registered in Egypt with its office at Rihana Plaza Tower, 10th Floor, Zahraa El Maadi, Cairo, Egypt.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. This site is information, not advice

Everything published here — service descriptions, sector commentary, articles, guides and insights — is general information about our firm and about developments we think will interest businesses operating in Egypt. It is not audit, tax, accounting, legal or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for it.

Professional advice depends on the facts. Tax positions, reporting obligations and regulatory requirements turn on the particular circumstances of a business, and on legislation that changes. Do not act, or decide not to act, on the basis of anything on this site without taking advice on your own situation.

2. No client relationship

Using this site, reading our material, or sending us an enquiry does not make you a client of the Firm and does not create a professional relationship between us.

We accept clients only after completing the acceptance procedures our profession requires — including identity verification and independence and conflict checks — and after both parties have signed an engagement letter setting out the scope of the work, the responsibilities of each party, and the fees. Until that letter is signed, we owe you no duty of care in respect of any matter.

Please do not send us confidential or price-sensitive information through this site or by unencrypted email before an engagement is in place. Information sent to us before we act for you is not protected by professional confidentiality in the same way, and sending it may create a conflict that prevents us from acting.

3. Accuracy and currency

We take care that the information we publish is accurate when written. Egyptian tax and regulatory requirements change frequently, and material may be superseded without being amended or removed. Where an article carries a date, treat it as a statement of the position at that date and nothing more.

We give no warranty that the content is complete, current or free from error, and we are under no obligation to update it.

4. Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, graphics, images, logos, layout and the compilation of it — belongs to the Firm or to its licensors and is protected by Egyptian and international copyright law. The Kreston name and marks belong to Kreston Global and are used under licence.

You may read, download and print pages for your own use or for the internal use of your organisation, provided you keep any copyright notices intact. You may not republish, redistribute commercially, systematically extract, or present our material as your own without our prior written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that breaches these terms;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
  • introduce malicious code, or interfere with the site’s operation or availability;
  • scrape, harvest or systematically collect content or contact details from the site;
  • use the site to send unsolicited commercial communications.

6. Links to other sites

Where we link to a third-party website — including Kreston Global and its member firms — we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. You follow such links at your own risk.

7. Careers submissions

Material you send us through the careers page or to our human resources address is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Submitting an application does not oblige us to consider it, to respond, or to offer employment, and does not create any contractual relationship.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice, and we will not be liable if it is unavailable for any period.

9. Our regulatory position

Ahmed Mamdouh & Co. is registered to provide audit and professional services in Egypt and is subject to the regulatory and ethical requirements applicable to the profession, including those governing independence and confidentiality.

We are an independent member of the Kreston Global network. Kreston Global is a network of independent accounting firms; it is not a partnership, it does not itself provide services to clients, and member firms are separate legal entities. No member firm is the agent of, or liable for the acts or omissions of, any other. Our engagement is with this Firm alone.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its content — including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss arising from decisions taken on the basis of general information published here.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or for professional liability owed to a client under a signed engagement letter, which is governed by that letter rather than by these terms.

11. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the version that applies. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

13. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction.
